Happy Memorial Weekend

The long weekend was perfect! I finally got to celebrate my birthday with my closest family and friends.  Josh was wonderful and picked up a bushel of the most delicious crabs and cooked them himself.  We had so much to eat and drink.  Ashley make some delish cupcakes and my parents picked up my absolute favorite cake from Cakes Plus.  It was so nice to spend the afternoon/night with everyone.  We even managed to spend a few days sunning ourselves by the pool.  Getting severe heat rash was the only mishap...that stuff is prickly and uncomfy!

I have been super busy these last few weeks with weddings, birthdays, Mother's day, etc. the polish has been quick and uninspired. Not even post worthy! I did find a color I'm in love with...it's part of Essie's new summer collection. It's the perfect orange-red with a hint of pink!

Josh and I headed to Charlottesville, VA Friday to go to a friends wedding this weekend. Upon arrival, Josh surprised me with flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the hotel room! He did well! We ended up going to Downtown Grille for dinner. Oh. My. Word. We had the best dinner in a LOOONG time. The mussels, calamari and scallops were to die for. BUT, the best part of the meal was the filet mignon. We were both in food heaven!

After dinner we met up with the bride and groom and the rest of the guests for drinks. 

Now back home celebrating Mother's Day with 4 wonderful Moms that are just AMAZING!

All in all a great weekend!
